Built for Cambridge University the Materials, Science & Metallurgy building is sited in Charles Babbage Way CB2. The bond used on the main building is half brick wide Flemish bond and incorporates recessed & projecting headers to form polygons in the outer leaf. This was an extremely intricate brickwork project that incorporated 300,000nr facing bricks and 2,400m² of blockwork on part of the inner leaf & internal walls. Value £1.4million
